We are an old-fashioned swing band with a "Big Bad Voodoo Daddy" spirit and social attitude. Our mission is to play music, have fun, learn and grow musically while recreating the sounds and styles of the big bands of the past and present eras. We are dedicated and reliable musicians with a desire to better our skills and to have fun without thought of financial gain. We perform on the average of 12 times per year within a fifty-mile radius of Lock Haven. The fees we earn for our performances are used to pay expenses, to buy music, to sponsor clinics, and to provide group social events, such as attending concerts. We welcome and encourage any interested musicians to join our organization, and we are delighted to make room for new talent. All of the group’s decisions, such as the engagements and the election of a director for a one-year term, are made by the members.The group has given the responsibility for talent placement, music line-up, rehearsal schedules, and other decisions that affect the musical quality of the selection to the director.
